Jiu Jitsu World League Elite Tournament

October 22nd was an exciting day for our team! Many of our Chilean Team mates arrived the day before and were ready to go fight the next day even with the Jet Lag.

The Jiu Jitsu World League Tournament was held at Cal State University Northridge and was a warm up for the SJJIF Worlds that is October 28 & 29th for many of our competitors.

The Team looked amazing!!!!

Sophia took Gold with two amazing fights. She really pushed the limits fighting to the end to come on top and get the W with a sweep in the last 30 seconds. She put Professor's saying of "you can do anything in 20 seconds" into play.

Coach Kim took Gold as well with 2 fights and 2 wins by submission. It was fun to see all the back retention we learned the week before the competition be used. 1 choke from the back and 1 arm bar won her the Gold.
